Cob Show

I spent last weekend helping Connor's breeder show Cobs at our WPCSA spring show.  I wish I could get Connor there to show, but with no truck and trailer of my own, that's not going to happen anytime soon.  Sad, but I still had fun - despite being so tired I took a two hour nap immediately upon getting home on Saturday!

I got a couple of phone snaps, but I'm hoping to be able to share some of the DSLR photos we took afterward of the mares with their ribbons sometime soon.  This is all for now:

Castleberry's Athanasia.  She's incredible, definitely the best Cob mare I've ever seen in real life, and so fiery in the show ring.  Look at that feather and those dapples!  I couldn't take my eyes off of her, and neither could the spectators.

Baby Filigree saying hi to a young fan.

Athanasia and some fans of her own.

    1. I know. I am perhaps biased and uneducated, but I genuinely believe she's one of the best Sec. D mares in the country. I hope we get to take her to the national show later this year, she and Lisa deserve the recognition!

    1. Aren't they crazy? They're everywhere! And I believe she's only on pasture right now.

They make me home sick as there are so many of them in England!

    1. I'm sorry to hear about the homesickness, but I'm glad you like them! I have never been to England but very much want to go to Wales for the Royal Welsh someday.
