First day back

I went to bring in Phoenix, whose pasture is next to the one Shae was in over break, and as I was calling to Phoenix I heard someone whinnying in my direction: Shae.  He saw me from 200 yards away and his whole body was alert and staring at me with his ears pricked and his head up.  I called out to him, "Baby Shae!" like I normally do and he whinnied at me again, and walked along the fence row with me as I went to get Phoenix. Finally, I went to get Shae and he walked straight to me.  I think he missed me!
