I've been feeling like a child just learning how to ride lately, so today I decided to post comparison photos showing the improvement I made in four years at college. The first photo is from my very first IHSA show on October 1, 2006, going Walk-Trot on Orion. I won that class, shockingly enough.
And this one was from jump class in September of 2009. There are still problems with my equitation, but still, the change is dramatically apparent.
It's fascinating to compare where I was then and how far I've come. I need to keep things like this in perspective when I get to feeling badly about my riding.
