Someone forgot to tell her we're usually gleefully mowing our lawns in sweatshirts on Thanksgiving in this part of the country.
That means Sunday stall cleaning takes a little longer while I resurrect my mid-morning coffee break:

And the pony got his blanket liner put on for good, as well as his hood. He doesn't really need the hood to keep warm, I just like to keep the rain off of him with it, but then I realized it was taming his unruly mane:

So between that, mud, bite marks from his partner in crime, and cold biting winds/rain, he gets to keep the hood:

ReplyDeleteYou should! Just make sure it fits, otherwise you'll end up wondering how you're going to braid six inches of missing mane all next summer like I did this year. It sucked! The mane taming was an unforseen benefit of the hood this year though!

ReplyDeleteI actually slept in Houston's bot cooler last night. Idk if you've tried human BOT but I now need a bot mattress pad and blanket. Then I'll have a sandwich as L Williams put it. Might be something to try out since I know you have a hard time with the cold :)
Haha, sandwich! I actually only own BoT people stuff - I have the glove liners and the knee brace. I always think "Eh, I won't need the knee brace, it's not that cold," and then my knee starts aching and I have to put it on. Sort of amazing! I would definitely like a mattress pad and blanket, do they make those??

DeleteWe're freezing here too, I've been spending a lot of time thinking about how cold I am and accomplishing little in the way of real life. Love the dinosaur hood - so cute
