Do you know what this is?
|
Yes that is Huckleberry Bey and Scat Cat in the background, for all you Breyer fans out there. |
This is a celebratory glass of $9/bottle wine, because my husband accepted a job offer today! I am elated that we made it through five months of his unemployment and we managed to keep Connor at the Farm and, you know, still pay the mortgage and stuff. And, you know what that means: GAME ON! I'm trying to get into a clinic we're hosting on Monday if there are spots available. I did say that the second he got a job I was off the bench, and I wasn't kidding!

Gorgeous photos and omg, that is fantastic, and a huge relief for you guys that he was offered a job!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! This is great news! I was just thinking about you the other day and hoping you had gotten some good news on that front so that's great! Love the pictures :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I feel like I've been an absentee blogger lately...that's going to change!
DeleteCongrats!! That is awesome news! That must be a huge relief. I am struggling over here since my husband was laid off in August and unemployment is giving him a hard time about collecting. It's a struggle.
ReplyDeleteThe barn looks gorgeous at fall!
I am so sorry to hear that, it's so hard. Nick wasn't eligible for unemployment, so he made it work with a part time job. It's just so stressful, looking at every dollar you spend and thinking "Is this necessary for survival?" Hang in there, I'm thinking about you guys.
DeleteCongrats! That must be such a relief. Bring on the pony time!
ReplyDeletePony time!
DeleteSo happy for you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your husband!!! WHEEEEE!! Unemployment sucks. Hooray for more pony adventures!
ReplyDeleteYes it does - it should be outlawed. Haha.

ReplyDeleteLee Anna
Yes, he is happier now than he was with the previous job, so all's well that ends well. Glad yours ended well too!

ReplyDeleteYay!!!! That is wonderful. Just in time for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteI love those really bright orange trees. We have them at work and makes coming so much better this time of year.
I am hoping I feel better this weekend because my guys are desperate for trace clips. Glad you got Connor's done.
Yeah those trees were gorgeous, unfortunately they shed EVERY SINGLE LEAF in a storm the next day. Sad. Get going on those trace clips, it is such a relief to have that chore done!
DeleteHOORAY HOORAY HOORAY!!!! I know you were running out of time, so I am beyond excited for you guys! :-) So glad it worked out.
ReplyDeleteThanks, we were! Just not something anyone should have to suffer through, you know?
DeleteHooray! That is fantastic news!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little late to the party...but better late than never! I'm SO excited for you guys. Yah!
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy with a baby pony, no apologies necessary! Thanks!
DeleteSo happy for you both!!!
ReplyDeleteBut poor Connor doesn't know what's ahead of him!
Congrats to your husband and you!!! I know how stressful it is to be jobless and searching. Enjoy that bottle of wine :)
