This is his boredom behavior. He opens his mouth just a bit, flings his head in short quick strokes, and lets his lips flap around. Honestly, I could care less as long as he has all 4 feet on the ground, so I let him self-entertain.

Val does the lip flip too - mainly when cross tie activities surpass his attention span. He can really get some momentum going lol. I wonder if our clever boys are releasing endorphins?

DeleteMajestic giraffe... Haha
ReplyDeleteHe is looking rather regal and giraffe-like, am I right?
DeleteConnor IS a majestic giraffe :)
ReplyDeleteSimon's boredom/nervous behavior is chewing on the side of his tongue. It's delightful.
ReplyDeletePig does this! In fact, I watched a whole lot of racehorses do that last weekend at Keeneland...
Deleteisabel's neighbor does the same lip-flappy thing lol, it's kinda adorable
ReplyDeleteI kind of think it's cute when they do the lip flappy stuff!
