The moral of the story is, there are some things worth being picky over, and blanket fit is definitely one of them. Don't settle! And if you are going to settle for a month and then change your mind, make sure you buy your blankets from Smartpak...
Definitely better! (and yes, thank goodness for Smarpak!)
ReplyDeleteMuch better!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a difference 3" makes!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think the most surprising thing is how much longer the 72" is top to bottom.
DeleteYeah, I see what you mean! The 69 is much more proportional all around. I feel like I see a lot of horses in blankets that look long (in the top to bottom sense) on them. I wonder if there are some manufacturers that just make them longer like that or if there are really a lot of horses out there with the wrong blanket size
Deleteyep, the new one looks great on Connor! i'm just learning this difference with coolers (isabel is decidedly a 72" - *not* a 74-76, as I had imagined...)
ReplyDeleteA 69" is just so foreign to me, seeing as my beast is an 80" :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, welcome to life with pony. If only he was slightly shorter so that he could fit in the CHEAPER pony blankets!
Deleteits an art really...!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. That's why the SP blanketing app doesn't really work for me. There needs to be a "runs hot" option.- art, not science.
