Penny Oaks HT: In the Books

Just a quick update before I go to bed at 8pm in broad daylight - it's been that kind of weekend!

Connor and I finished 7th in a massive 28 rider division on a 33.5, with a 29.5 Dressage score and one rail down in SJ.  He owned Dressage (even with a rider error that added at least 3 points to our score), skittered around XC making jump judges gasp as usual, then turned 9 years old on Sunday, suddenly grew up overnight and put in a normal, quiet, boring jump round, start to finish, for the first time in our entire show career.  THRILLED, I am THRILLED about that!

This picture wouldn't have happened without the last month of trainer rides.  Worth. Every.  Penny.
