Sale! And More Boot Ho'ing Over Those Open Fronts

After seeing my post last week, Julie at Riding Warehouse emailed me yesterday to let me know that the Majyk Equipe Generation 2 boots are now up on their website - and the 15% off deal they have going through 3/31 (Promo code SAVE15) is valid on the boots!

(It's also valid on clearance, which is a great way to get a shopper like me to keep coming back.  I typically only hit the clearance section of tack sites and purposely avoid looking at anything else unless I need something specific.)

Nobody else is offering a coupon code on the boots right now, so hop to it!  I may have a pair of gen2 Dressage boots in my cart right this second already purchased, actually...

I would also like to point out that Riding Warehouse has so many more views of the leather open fronts than anyone else.  If this is the reason for the slight delay in getting them up (I don't know if it is) I salute you, RW, because these shots are gorgeous.  I can't take my eyes off the stitching and the buckles.  Let's have a look:

They're

just

so

gorgeous!  And practical.  Let's not forget practical.

AND!  They come in Arab/Cob and horse sized!  I was so sure when I first saw them that they would only come in "Big Eq Horse"-sized, so I'm delighted to see something that will fit Connor. These will definitely be a frivolous gift to myself at some point this year.

    1. Right? Same here. Not my sport, but I plan to buy them anyway at some point.

    1. Lol, at least it's a narrow range of things I'll enable on. Everything I own is used except for my TSF girth, new bit and the ME boots.

  3. Ohhh man, those boots seriously are ridiculously gorgeous! I was so psyched when you said Arab/cob size, but then I realized that's only for these leaner ones, not the dressage or XC or even the other open fronts. So on the one hand I'm super psyched that these are in Arab/cob, but it's not what I'm in the market for at the moment :( they'll also definitely be a frivolous gift to myself at some point too though ;)

    1. You might be surprised. The Dressage boots come in medium, large and XL for the first time, which makes me think medium may fit the smaller guys, and the 2nd gen XC fronts do fit Connor. You can always return them. :D

    2. I actually ended up buying a pair of the gen I dressage boots around Black Friday last year - RW had one pair of S left! They fit really well so I'm sad to not see the gen II in S. You're right though...I could always try and return! Worth a shot once :)

    1. The XC boots don't come in small, but the mediums are small enough to fit Connor reasonably well.

  5. Wow!! I wish I had a reason for beautiful leather open front boots (and colorful stiching on my saddle but that's a different story) but alas, I'm stuck over here in dressage land. At least I get blingy browband :)

    1. Lol. I think leather open fronts and my CWD will keep me an eventer forever, even though I love Dressage.

  7. I love leather open fronts. But I don't even jump anymore. Oops

    1. Clearly there's only one way to solve that problem: start jumping again.

  8. Haha what is it about leather open fronts? I oogle them always, but even when I do have them, I hate the maintenance. Too sandy around here to be worthwhile.

    1. Aesthetics? I'm honestly not sure. Everyone told me I'd hate having white boots for everyday flatwork too, and they're still white a year and a half in. In my actual life, I'm a puts-up-with-high-maintenance type of person. You should see my curly hair routine.
