    I LOVE THAT! Ugh that magical and slow transformation that sneaks up on you as the world awakens and bursts forth with greenery!

    Don't really have that in California the same way, even though everything does green up when it rains. It doesn't feel as profligate in celebration, I think in part because everyone hunkers down and acts like the rain will kill them.
