CONTEST! Sponsored by Majyk Equipe and Riding Warehouse

Time for a contest!

In honor of National Dressage Pony Cup being this week, Majyk Equipe and Riding Warehouse have agreed to sponsor a contest, and the prizes are amazing.  First, the goods:

Prize #1: a complete front and hind set of medium sized generation 2 Majyk Equipe XC boots.  No worries if you're not an eventer, they're great for flatting too (just ask Amanda, who schools all three phases in hers!)  Check out my review of them here and here.

Prize #2: an amazing prize pack from Riding Warehouse!  They really outdid themselves.  The prize pack contains:

How to enter: Guess how many times Connor gets mistaken for a Haflinger at National Dressage Pony Cup! Leave a comment before 11:59pm Eastern time Thursday evening (July 6) with your guess on how many times Connor will get mistaken for a Haflinger.  We'll be there for three days.  Please make sure you don't comment as anonymous so I know who to contact for prizes!

"Seriously, I'm not a Haflinger guys."

Things I'm going to count:
- Anytime anyone says something like "Oh what a cute Haflinger"/"I love your Haflinger"/"Is that a Haflinger?"
- Anytime anyone asks what breed he is and then follows it up with "Oh really?  I thought he was a Haflinger."

How to win: If more than one person has the correct answer, I'll do a random draw between them for who gets first choice of prize and who gets second.  If nobody guesses exactly right, the closest and second closest guesses will win.

    For 3 days, I think Connor will be accused (eh, that is kind of harsh, Halfies are pretty adorbs too!) of being a Haflinger 18 times per your rules. Good luck!

      Yeah, medium hinds will be iffy on some full-sized horses. I figured whoever won them could decide if they worked or not, and only take the fronts or hinds if one set didn't work (medium fronts will work for most average sized horses).

    Haha! We get "Icelandic" or "Fjord" once a month.. so.. over three days, with possibly decreasing numbers each day, I'm guessing 19.
    I think it really depends how much you'll be around him!

    B has already been a Clydesdale twice this past week, and a TB once. My favorites are the people that wont leave it and are like "are you SURE your pony isn't that breed?" Um yes, yes I'm sure, do you need to see the paperwork? 3 is a very low number, but it looks like it's free, so that's my pick.

      Lol, Clydesdale! My favorite was when Connor was the Welsh Cob breed ambassador at the (heavily skewed toward Western) Hoosier Horse Fair. He got "Mustang" so many times! (Because of the hair).

      I hope less too, but you never know. This part of the country is verrrrrry unlikely to have heard of Welsh Cobs compared to the East Coast, unfortunately!
